Voom Team Member: Adam McGath
Hello, Adam! Meet Voom’s Business Development Manager
Adam McGath is no stranger to the world of business development and he’s bringing more than 20 years of experience to his new, part-time role as Business Development Manager with Voom CreativeTM. In this role, Adam will create customer prospect profiles and conduct market research to better understand prospect’s current growth and marketing strategies.
A particular focus for Adam is the transportation industry – a sector he has worked in since the age of 18 for companies such as Bauer Built, Northwest Tire and Custom Cap & Tire. It was Voom’s work with Custom Cap & Tire (CCT) that drew Adam to his new role. “It was clear to see the value Voom brought to CCT resulting in an expansion of clients and sales,” said Adam. “The experience made me a marketing believer and I’m excited to help champion Voom’s unique agency.”
“My role is to help potential clients, in any industry, understand how Voom can help them apply a framework of marketing principles to their business to increase their exposure and, ultimately, market share,” said Adam. “Marketing can feel intangible, which leads to under-investing or quick marketing gimmicks with little return on investment (ROI). Clients with the best ROI understand their sales process can take more than 12 months and marketing is critical through all points of that process.”
Outside of work, Adam enjoys deer hunting, fishing and reading nearly anything he can get his hands on. And, he is a devoted husband to wife, Melissa, and doting dad to their two children.
