Background
Dream Floors is a hard surface flooring company that specializes in high-end hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl and tile surfaces. Located in the Twin Cities’ flooring hub in Plymouth, MN, Dream Floors carries top brands known for their durability such as Mirage, Mannington, Urban Floor, Paramount, COREtec, and many others.
Dream Floors partnered with Voom Creative with the objective of developing a new brand for their growing company. In addition to creating their logo, color and typeface palettes, and brand identity design, Voom Creative built out an entire brand strategy and marketing strategy to target both B2B and B2C audiences. Part of the marketing strategy included developing two overview brochures to target these audiences as well as implementing a sales strategy for following up and fostering new relationships. Website graphics, social media graphics and new web content were also created to further leverage the updated brand and provide a consistent brand voice.

Dream Floors had a dated brand that no longer revealed the great customer service and stunning floors showcased in their showroom. In addition, the company was reluctant to pursue partnerships with other upstream businesses because they knew their brand was not as polished as competitor brands.
We brought Dream Floors through our three-step branding process to create a unified brand that was sophisticated and modern. We did this by first researching and analyzing the business and all of its intricacies and then evaluating their competitors. With this foundational knowledge in hand, we were able to provide an identity that set Dream Floors apart.
We selected typefaces with clean lines and a color palette that felt rich and inviting to appeal to the upscale tastes of their audiences. A motif was designed as a pattern to complement the ornate and delicate features in the logo icon. This motif became a primary accent in the design of the business system and all of the Dream Floor marketing collateral. The new brand earned us a MarCom Gold award for company branding.
